Jumpin' Jamie is a kindie rock artist based out of Marlboro, NJ. Their 2018 debut album "Kookie" was produced by 5 different producers including Marty Beller and Danny Weinkauf from Grammy award winning band They Might Be Giants. It also features over 40 special guests including the late Peter Tork from The Monkees. Since the release of the first single in 2016, they amassed over half a million plays on Spotify and was the featured artist of the week on Australia's satellite radio station Kinderling Kids Radio. The single "Ghost In My House" was ranked a top Halloween song by various outlets including Yahoo, Good House Keeping, and Time Out NY. The follow-up album "Never Mind The Blocks, Here's Jumpin' Jamie" was released on April 22, 2020. It is a collection of songs themed to character education, critical thinking, and activism produced by John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance) and Mark Hamilton (Ash). The single "I Don't Wanna Dance (Just Like Everyone) is featured on Spotify's official Family Dance Party playlist and has gone on to become Jumpin' Jamie's most popular song. On August 12, 2022 their third album "Mosaic" was released themed to inclusion and mental health co-produced and co-written by Bob Runkel (The DJ Bob Show). The album features guests from every inhabited continent in the world. Jumpin' Jamie has performed thousands of shows for hundreds of thousands of people at venues including Citi Field (6 times), Wolf Trap National Park For The Performing Arts, Liberty State Park , The Freeman Stage, and American Dream. They have brought their show to festivals and conventions including World Science Festival, Wizard World Comic Con, Baltimore Comic Con, and NYC Winter Lantern Festival. They have performed in every county of their home state NJ, as well as NY, CA, PA, VA, CT, NH, ME, VT, MA, DE, MD, KS, IL, MI, NE, and FL. Jumpin' Jamie has been spotted on television throughout the years from being a contestant on the Price Is Right, provoking David Letterman to reference the song "The Mighty T-Rex" on the Late Show, appearing on Celebrity Wife Swap and Cake Boss as the Dinosaur Troubadour, and most recently as a "Dad with a Cat" on the award winning Sesame Street episode "Family Day". Their music will soon be heard as part of PBS's Dance Your Way To SEL (Socio-emotional learning) resources. |
